University School of Jackson found their leader in underclassman Jacob Snider, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that Snider scored 15 or more points. Mike Cook was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds and four steals.
University School of Jackson pushed their record up to 9-1 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Carroll Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University School of Jackson will challenge Lawrence County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Tennessee (Lawrence County is ranked 73rd, while University School of Jackson is ranked 62nd).
