It was another big night for Khiara Culliver, who went 6 for 8 on her way to 17 points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played. Neeley Campbell was another key player, putting up seven points and three steals.
Maiden smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 13 consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Bunker Hill was beaten by East Burke 85-29 on Wednesday. The Bears have struggled against the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Maiden will have to keep a close watch on Rachel Beck and Kylie Killian, a pair of players who had a big impact on Bunker Hill's prior game. Beck posted seven points and eight rebounds, while Killian had six points.
Maiden's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Bunker Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.
