Fairmont Prep scaled the state rankings by moving to 869 from 949 this week, the biggest jump in San Joaquin. The Huskies were able to move up by topping Calvary Chapel 35-0.
Capistrano Valley Christian added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Crean Lutheran, 48-7. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Riley Babick threw for 221 yards and 4 touchdowns. He was 19-22 with 0 interceptions.
Babick put up the best numbers in passing as Capistrano Valley Christian topped the Saints. Babick's favorite target this week was Mike Updegraff, who caught 5 passes for 81 yards.
Capistrano Valley Christian's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Babick has thrown for 1,085 yards and 17 touchdowns this season, while Ben Sukut has 30 catches for 366 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Southlands Christian takes on Dan Dodd's team. As it stands, the Eagles are in fifth, while the Eagles are in first.
