Service lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Dimond, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's game. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Lynx on Thursday. Considering the Cougars have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Rilen Niclai was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two doubles. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Ryker Shreck, who got on base in both of his plate appearances with two runs.

Service's record is now 18-3. As for Dimond, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-8-2.

Service wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 4-3 loss against Eagle River on the 30th. As for Dimond, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-4 defeat against South Anchorage on the 30th.
