Sanford not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since May 10, 2024 (when they won 12-0). They put the hurt on the Westbrook Blue Blazes with a sharp 12-2 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Spartans' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Tyler Do was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Do was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Ryan Alexander was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Matthew Hebert was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Sanford now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Westbrook, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.
