Mary Votava will have a tough time topping her junior season as goalkeeper at
Jesuit (Portland, Ore.).
Votava didn't allow a single goal as the Crusaders went 19-0-0 and outscored opponents 128-1 (she missed the match where the lone goal was conceded with an injury). Jesuit won its second straight Class 6A state championship and earned the No. 1 national ranking in
TopDrawerSoccer.com's Fab 50 for the fall season.
To top it off, in December she was one of 150 high school juniors named as Allstate All-Americans.
Allstate has teamed up with four U.S. soccer legends to coach a select group of these All-Americans at the Allstate All-America Cup at 2019 MLS All-Star Orlando. Former Major League Soccer and U.S. men's national team members, Taylor Twellman and Brian McBride, will join the likes of former U.S. women's national soccer team standouts and Olympic gold medalists, Julie Foudy and Brandi Chastain, to coach and mentor these promising high school players.
Votava was profiled in a video posted on the Allstate All-America Cup (@AllstateCup) this week. Watch below.
