With a playoff win on the line, Chaminade rose to the challenge  on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Glendora Tartans with a sharp  12-3 win. The  victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won three  games in a row.
 Finley Suppan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on eight hits.
 At the plate,  Sydney Hogue was  incredible,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.  Siena Greenlinger was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with four  runs and one  stolen base.
 Chaminade  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. They are 9-1-1 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Chaminade's win bumped their record up to 16-11-1. As for Glendora, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 17-10.
 Looking ahead, Chaminade will host Westlake  at 3:15  p.m.  on Saturday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 6.6  runs per game this season. Glendora does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
