At the plate, Ava Murray was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs. Those two runs gave her a new career-high.

The team relied heavily on Rylee Schneider, who went 4-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Maliyah Smith, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
St. Clair was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .378. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sterling Heights Stevenson only posted a batting average of .154.
St. Clair has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Algonac, their record now sits at 13-11-1.
