Deer Park is on a three-game streak of home losses, Madeira a ten-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. The Deer Park Wildcats will take on the Madeira MUSTANGS/AMAZONS at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Deer Park has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
On Wednesday, Deer Park didn't have too much trouble with Norwood on the road as they won 63-49.
Meanwhile, Madeira was able to grind out a solid victory over Mt. Healthy on Tuesday, taking the game 54-47.
Madeira's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Will Manning, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Peter Laux, who scored 12 points along with two blocks.
Deer Park's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-13. As for Madeira, their victory bumped their record up to 5-14.
