Pius X came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Lincoln North Star, but Marie Paneitz wouldn't allow it. The Navigators skirted past the Thunderbolts 2-1 for which the team can thank Paneitz, who had 12 digs and one assist. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game.

The win was the fourth in a row for Lincoln North Star, bringing their record up to 12-1. As for Pius X, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-3 record.

Lincoln North Star didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Lincoln East on the 20th. As for Pius X, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Standing Bear on the 20th.
