While losing is never fun, Mississinawa Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 812th in Ohio, while Union City is ranked 328th in Indiana).
Meanwhile, Twin Valley South's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight defeat. They took a 62-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Miami Valley.
This is the second loss in a row for Mississinawa Valley and nudges their season record down to 2-18. As for Twin Valley South, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
