Mississinawa Valley is 2-7 against Twin Valley South since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks will be playing at home against the Twin Valley South Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Saturday, Mississinawa Valley was the victim of a rough 66-44 loss at the hands of Union City. While losing is never fun, Mississinawa Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 812th in Ohio, while Union City is ranked 328th in Indiana).
Meanwhile, Twin Valley South's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight defeat. They took a 62-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Miami Valley.
This is the second loss in a row for Mississinawa Valley and nudges their season record down to 2-18. As for Twin Valley South, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
