Edwards rushed for 177 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries while Aguilar rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. Edwards really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run. Seton Catholic also got help from Taisi Alo, who showed off his sure hands for 87 receiving yards.
Seton Catholic was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 380 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.
Despite the loss, La Joya Community still got an impressive performance from Jayden Quick, who picked up 111 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Seton Catholic, bringing their record for this year to 8-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.5 points per game. As for La Joya Community, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
