On Saturday, Sheridan faced Laramie in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Sheridan Broncs came out on top against the Laramie Plainsmen by a score of 75-67. Winning may never get old, but the Broncs sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Laramie's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Neil Summers, who went 6-for-10 on his way to 14 points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists. Max Alexander was another key player, going 7-for-15 en route to 20 points.

Sheridan's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points over those games. As for Laramie, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 13-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sheridan will welcome Campbell County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Campbell County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully Sheridan likes a good challenge. As for Laramie, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
