The Spartanburg Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Rock Hill Bearcats at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Spartanburg will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
Spartanburg put the finishing touches on their third blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Dorman 35-14.
Trenton Lynch went supernova for Spartanburg, rushing for 169 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. Lynch really tore up the turf during one magnificent 78-yard run. Justin Rice also helped out with an impressive 81 receiving yards.
Spartanburg's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB eight times. Leading the way was Christian Roberts and his three sacks.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Rock Hill's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were beaten by Clover 58-21.
Spartanburg's victory bumped their season record to 5-5 while Rock Hill's defeat dropped theirs to 6-4.
