South Fulton has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Peabody Golden Tide at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Thursday, South Fulton came up short against Westview and fell 51-42. While losing is never fun, South Fulton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 146th, while Westview is ranked 13th).
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought game, but Peabody had to settle for a 41-39 defeat against South Gibson on Tuesday.
South Fulton has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Peabody, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
South Fulton and Peabody were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in February, but South Fulton came up empty-handed after a 46-45 defeat. Can South Fulton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
