Crossroad Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Myron Tennell, who scored 17 points. That's the first time this season that Tennell scored 15 or more points. Ja'Mari Favors was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six assists and five steals.
Community Leadership Academy's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Crossroad Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
Community Leadership Academy was dealt a bruising 76-38 loss at the hands of Crossroad Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Thankfully for Community Leadership Academy, Kris Parker (who dropped a triple-double on 25 points, 13 rebounds, and ten assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
