The North Star Knights had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Box Elder and snuck past 31-28. That's another feather in the cap for North Star, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Box Elder's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ariel Gopher, who scored nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taizj Henry, who scored six points.
North Star's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Box Elder, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
North Star does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Box Elder also has no future games currently scheduled.
