DeForest proved they can win big with a three-set victory on Tuesday. On Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the St. Ambrose Academy Guardians 2-1. The win is more of the same for the Norskies, who have now won three contests in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead DeForest to victory, but perhaps none more so than Macie Anderson, who had 14 digs and three aces. Haylin Arnold was another key player, getting 12 kills, nine digs, and two aces.

DeForest's victory brought them up to 14-6. As for St. Ambrose Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, DeForest and St. Ambrose Academy will both be playing Wisconsin Dells the next time they take the court. The Guardians will head out to face the Chiefs at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Norskies will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
