After three games on the road, Parkville is heading back home. They will take on the Loch Raven Raiders at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Parkville has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 945 points over their last 14 matches.
Parkville scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past Aberdeen 93-60 on the road. Parkville has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 21 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parkville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cameron Alexander, who scored 25 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Alexander has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tiras Wilkerson, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 16 rebounds.
Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Loch Raven's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. Their rough 63-39 defeat to Kenwood might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Loch Raven has scored all season.
Parkville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Loch Raven, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-3.
Everything came up roses for Parkville against Loch Raven in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 93-64 win. Will Parkville repeat their success, or does Loch Raven have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
