Andrew extended the longest winning streak in Southwest Suburban - Red this week by beating Thornridge, 49-0. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Bradley-Bourbonnais was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to second in the league. The Boilermakers beat Thornwood 47-13 earlier in the week.
Lincoln-Way North's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Phoenix feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ryan Arthur has thrown for 567 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Julian Hylton has nine catches for 149 yards. Hylton leads the league in rushing with 614 yards.
A big matchup in Southwest Suburban - Red this week will be when the Thunderbirds take on Andrew. Thornwood is currently in fifth, while Jim Malec's team is in third.
Bradley-Bourbonnais moved up to 92 from 139 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 47-13 win over Wilber Milhouse's team helped Mike Kohl's team improve its standing.
