The Boca Raton Bobcats were the 70-60 winner over the Park Vista Cobras when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Boca Raton took a 65-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Park Vista on Wednesday. Boca Raton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Luke Dahmer, who scored 18 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lavar Jamison, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Park Vista's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jean Garcia, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Tristen Etienne was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds.
Boca Raton has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Park Vista, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9.
Boca Raton and West Boca Raton will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Park Vista, they will square off against Central at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Central knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten contests -- so hopefully Park Vista likes a good challenge.
