Fellowship Christian Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Jacksonville Christian Academy, falling 59-12. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Fellowship Christian Academy of the 47-2 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
Nylah Moore continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Jacksonville Christian Academy, scoring 20 points along with six assists and six steals. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Moore has scored at least a third of Jacksonville Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Emma Goodson, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds.
Fellowship Christian Academy dropped their record down to 2-14 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fellowship Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Gramercy Christian is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against the Heat at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Liberty Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 last Tuesday.
