St. Dominic waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Ritenour Huskies by a score of 5-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Crusaders also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.
Abigail Mandrell made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. Mandrell was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Mandrell wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Jacie Phillips, who went 1-for-3 with one triple. Mackenzie Roth also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Looking ahead, St. Dominic will be playing at home against Ursuline Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ritenour, they will venture away from home to face off against Howell North at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
