Reidsville is 9-1 against Morehead since February of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Reidsville Rams will head out on the road to square off against the Morehead Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Reidsville suffered their biggest defeat since December 12, 2023 on Saturday. They suffered a rough 59-36 defeat at the hands of Orange. While losing is never fun, Reidsville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 387th, while Orange is ranked 183rd).
Meanwhile, Morehead's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against T.W. Andrews, falling 61-17. Morehead has struggled against T.W. Andrews recently, as their game on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Reidsville's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Morehead, they bumped their record down to 2-10 with that defeat, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Reidsville beat Morehead 42-33 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Will Reidsville repeat their success, or does Morehead have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
