The Minor Tigers and the Homewood Patriots squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but sadly the Minor Tigers had to settle for second. They lost to the Patriots on the road by a decisive 56-39 margin. Minor's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Carmelo Burroughs, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Mcclain, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Minor's defeat dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Homewood, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-8.
Minor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Homewood also has no future games currently scheduled.
