On Tuesday, neither Wharton nor Rice Consolidated could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw. There's a chance things could've gone differently had Wharton not been charged with a red card from Aldo Gonzales.
With that draw, Wharton's record moves to 2-6-2. As for Rice Consolidated, they moved theirs to 2-11-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wharton will stay at home for another game and welcome Bay City at 7:15 p.m. on February 9th. Bay City has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 24 goals over their last three games. As for Rice Consolidated, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Palacios at 7:15 p.m. Palacios' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for ten straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
