Bishop entered their tilt with Hebbronville on Friday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. Everything went their way against the Hebbronville Longhorns as they made off with a 68-44 win. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Badgers had established a 22 point advantage.

Bishop was led to victory by James Garcia and Kristian Ramos. Garcia went 8 of 15 en route to 18 points in addition to eight steals and seven assists, while Ramos went 11 for 19 on his way to 25 points along with eight boards and four steals. Ramos has been hot for a while, having posted 18 or more points the last 17 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Miguel Valdez, who posted seven points.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Bishop was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hebbronville only racked up 11 assists.

Hebbronville lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jeffery Shreve, who went 7 of 9 on his way to 14 points. That's the most points Shreve has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Robert Gonzalez, who put up six points and five rebounds.

Bishop is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 18-12 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points per game. As for Hebbronville, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-19.

Bishop will take on Banquete at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop is facing Banquete at the right time seeing as Banquete is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Hebbronville, they will face off against Falfurrias at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
