Destiny Christian put another one in the bag  on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Union Christian Academy Eagles as they made off with  a  15-7 win. Considering the Wildcats have won six matches by more than seven  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Zoey Landers was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  struck out six batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned  (and four unearned) runs off   six  hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Rian Tipton and  Rae Whomble did most of the damage at the plate:  Tipton  scored three  runs and  stole four bases while going 2-for-3, while  Whomble  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Those  four  stolen bases gave  Tipton a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Cienna Davis, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
Destiny Christian pushed their record up to 11-0 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Union Christian Academy,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-8.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Destiny Christian will  face off against  rival Life Prep  at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Meanwhile, Union Christian Academy is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Arkansas Christian Academy  at 2:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
