If Tompkins was feeling good fresh off their 8-2 takedown of Paetow last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons fell just short of the Bellville Brahmas by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Tompkins' loss dropped their record down to 12-6-2. As for Bellville, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Tompkins will take on Mayde Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bellville, they will head out to challenge La Grange at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Leopards' pitching crew has only allowed 1.3 runs per game this season, so the Brahmas' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
