Christoval took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over Sonora. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Broncos recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Hollis Boyer looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).
Christoval was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eldorado). They blew past Colorado 19-9 on Friday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by ten runs or more this season.
The team relied heavily on Brindon Gamez, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last four times he's played. Jonnie Adame was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Christoval's record now sits at 8-5-1. As for Eldorado, their record is now 8-2.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Christoval hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .325. However, it's not like Eldorado struggles in that department as they've averaged .385. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
