Swansea dropped their record down to 16-4 on Monday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 13-6 to the Fox Creek Predators. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Predators this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-0 loss on April 3rd.

As for Fox Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games.

For Fox Creek's part, Cam Porter looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Porter has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Chance Weathersbee, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Bradley Anderson was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
