With a playoff win on the line, Bradford rose to the challenge  on Monday. They were the clear victors by  a  10-1 margin over the Botkins Trojans. Considering the Railroaders have won eight matches by more than seven  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Vivian Harlemen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on one hit and racked up eight Ks.
 On the hitting side, Bradford got a big performance out of  Chloe Hocker, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Hayven Evans, who  went 1-for-4 with one  home run.
Bradford's victory  ended  a  five-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 10-16. As for Botkins,  with the  defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-9.
 Coming up, Bradford will square off against Southeastern Local at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  win, something the Railroaders surely won't give up without a fight. Botkins does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
