Seton Catholic is 0-6 against La Center since October of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. Even though Seton Catholic has not done well against Castle Rock recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Seton Catholic took their contest against Castle Rock 38-27.
Jacob Williams was a one-man wrecking crew for Seton Catholic as he rushed for 188 yards and three touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Joe Callerame, who rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, La Center didn't have too much trouble with Mt. Baker at home on Saturday as they won 33-19.
La Center's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Houston Coyle, who threw for 100 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground. Jalen Ward was another key contributor, rushing for 102 yards and a touchdown.
The wins kept both teams' perfect 6-0 season records intact.
