With a playoff win on the line, Northeast Dubois rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They blew past the Springs Valley Blackhawks 15-1. The Jeeps might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by eight runs or more this season.

Aidan Sheetz was a standout: he went 2-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Kluesner, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four runs and one RBI.

Northeast Dubois is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Springs Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

Northeast Dubois will challenge Tecumseh at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Springs Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
