Gerald Kingbird jr had an outrageously good game for Red Lake as he scored 39 points along with 8 assists and 8 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Kingbird jr has scored at least 25% of Red Lake's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Brown, who scored 31 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
Nashwauk-Keewatin's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Red Lake, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
