Baseball Recap: First State Military Academy Victorious

First State Military Academy took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Wilmington Charter, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bulldogs narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Force 13-11. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Jacob Porrini was a standout: he scored a run while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. He also put up two RBI, which were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Austin Belford, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4.
