It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Comer Tigers had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against Highland Home by a score of 21-14. Comer's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Kamore Harris was on fire: he rushed for 215 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.4 yards per carry. Harris was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 60 yards.
Comer's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Highland Home, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.
Comer will take on Clarke County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: AJ Ezell and Harris. Highland Home does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
