After a string of eight wins, The Zachary Broncos''s good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 35-28 to Catholic-B.R.. Zachary has struggled against Catholic-B.R. recently, as their match on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Zachary lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kameron Thomas. Despite the final result, he rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns. Thomas hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Trey?dez Green, who picked up 132 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Zachary's loss dropped their record down to 8-1. As for Catholic-B.R., their victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-2.
