The Charter Oak Chargers were the 45-42 winner over the Bonita Bearcats when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Charter Oak fell 27-18 to Bonita on Thursday. Charter Oak has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Bonita can attribute much of their success to Noah Mikhail, who rushed for 83 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Mikhail is on a roll when it comes to solo tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Mielke ii, who threw for 214 yards and a touchdown while completing 76.2% of his passes.
Charter Oak's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Bonita, their victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-2.
Charter Oak will head out on the road to face off against North at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. North will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Bonita, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northview at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Northview is ranked 147th, while Bonita is ranked 134th).
