South Medford took care of business in their home opener. Everything went their way against Centennial on Friday as they made off with a 28-7 win. The margin was wide but not a surprise since South Medford are ranked far ahead of Centennial in the MaxPreps state rankings. This was the first game for both teams, giving South Medford a 1-0 record and starting Centennial off at 0-1.
South Medford are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Canby next week at 7:00 PM. Centennial will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Roosevelt at 7:00 PM.
