The Tooele Buffaloes can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They really took it to Hillcrest for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-26 win on the road. The victory was just what Tooele needed coming off of a 54-30 loss in their prior contest.
Tooele was led to victory by Kennedy Searle and Josie Kennedy. Searle scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and six steals, while Kennedy dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ciana Rolle, who scored seven points along with seven steals and six assists.
Tooele's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-11. As for Hillcrest, their defeat was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-21.
Tooele will take on Stansbury at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hillcrest, they will head out on the road to square off against Murray at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
