It was a good run, but Tempe unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 16-1 to the Greenway Demons. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Buffaloes couldn't push the score so high this time.

Tempe saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mya Martin, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Tempe's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Greenway, they pushed their record up to 10-6-1 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Tempe wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-3 loss against Maryvale on the 4th. As for Greenway, they will challenge Moon Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Demons are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
