The Silas Rams were the 65-51 winner over the Lakes Lancers when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Silas might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 70-68 to Lakes, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Silas has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Silas' loss on Thursday came despite strong showings from Albert Kopec and Tyson Parker. Kopec scored 22 points along with nine rebounds, while Parker scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. The game was Parker's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of LaMarcus Hinton, who scored seven points.
Silas now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Lakes, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
Silas will head out on the road to face off against Foss at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Foss will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Lakes will be home for the holidays to greet Steilacoom at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Steilacoom has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
