The Ambrose School Archers's five-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 53-29 margin over Marsing. That result was just more of the same for these two, as The Ambrose School also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.
Despite the loss, Marsing saw an underclassman step up: Adyson Chadez scored 14 points. The matchup was Chadez's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Nelson, who scored six points.
The Ambrose School's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-8. As for Marsing, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Ambrose School will challenge Melba at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marsing, they will head out on the road to face off against North Star at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
