After having lost a blowout to Casey County in their previous game, Russell County were happy to find some success on Friday. Russell County secured a 27-21 W over West Jessamine. West Jessamine can consider this payback for the 0-20 defeat they dealt Russell County the last time the teams encountered one another.
The victory bumped Russell County's record up to 2-1. The loss dropped West Jessamine back to even at 2-2.
Next week Russell County take on Adair County at 8:00 PM. West Jessamine will be staying on the road, facing off against Nelson County.
