Basketball Recap: Make It Eight in a Row for Terra Ceia Christian

Terra Ceia Christian had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37.6 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Heritage Christian Academy Patriots as they made off with a 71-48 win. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 23 points or more this season.

Leading Terra Ceia Christian to victory were Ryan Ange and Seth Meijer. Ange dropped a double-double on 29 points and 13 rebounds, while Meijer dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Ange has scored at least a third of Terra Ceia Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Aidan Persons, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds.

Terra Ceia Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 27 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in 31 consecutive contests dating back to last season.
