Walton-Verona never let their opponents score on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Williamstown Demons as they made off with a 15-0 victory. Considering the Bearcats have won nine contests by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Dustin Wills, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanner Watkins, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Walton-Verona always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .704. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Walton-Verona's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Williamstown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Walton-Verona will head out to square off against Grant County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Williamstown, they will welcome Paris at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Demons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Greyhounds have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
