Draper APA scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 83-59 margin over St. Joseph. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Draper APA has posted since November 27, 2023.
Draper APA relied on the efforts of Carter Vijayaraghavan, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds, and Luke Greenwell, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Greenwell scored 15 or more points. Parker Overby was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds.
Rowland Hall posted their closest victory yet this season on Friday. They had just enough and edged Waterford out 55-52.
Yeshi Tsering continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 29 points along with three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Landen Brady, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds.
Draper APA's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Rowland Hall, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-10 record this season.
Wednesday's matchup will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Urban Baldwin and Tsering. Baldwin has been dynamite this season: he has averaged 12.8 points, 1.9 steals, and 5.5 assists. For his part, Tsering has averaged 15.4 points, 2.9 steals, and 3.8 assists.
