Even though Kenwood scored an imposing 56 points on Friday, Edgewood still came out on top. Edgewood took their contest against Kenwood 66-56. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Edgewood has managed all season.
C. Milton Wright has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 31 points or more this season. They blew past Aberdeen 89-58 on the road. Given C. Milton Wright's advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while Aberdeen is ranked 60th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Dylan Sander continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 31 points and 21 rebounds. The game was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kyle Ashman, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.
The victory got Edgewood back to even at 2-2. As for C. Milton Wright, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
