There's no place like home for the Bridgeton Bulldogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against Vineland by a score of 59-49 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bridgeton also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Bridgeton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zikwon Anderson, who scored 21 points along with three steals. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. Kyion Gray was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with three steals.
Bridgeton now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Vineland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.
Bridgeton will head out on the road to face off against Cherokee at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cherokee presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bridgeton in New Jersey (Cherokee is ranked 92nd, while Bridgeton is ranked 232nd). As for Vineland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Buena at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Buena is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
